Telegram Groups And Channels
There are groups and channels related to XRP and different XRPL Tokens and NFTs on Telegram. One common thing all these groups need is a XRP Ledger based wallet. So we decided to create a Telegram Channel and a group for people who are interested in knowing more about our non-custodial wallet. Fetching Cryptocurrency Price
While people spend time talking to each other on Telegram groups it is common to check the price of different cryptocurrencies. So we also built a Telegram Bot for our users to fetch price details while still staying inside the group.
The Bot Made Public
While we use our bot inside our own groups, we also thought that it’ll be helpful for other XRP Ledger based projects to use the bot in their own groups. There is no point in creating multiple bots and maintaining multiple servers by multiple parties for the bots to do the same thing!
So here we are making our bot public, so that anyone can add it to their group and anyone in those groups can query the bot and get any cryptocurrency price matrices.
How To Use The Bot In Group
Step 1: You’ll have to add the bot @OsmWalletBot to your Telegram group as a regular user. Warning: Do NOT add the bot as an admin.
Step 2: Inside your group, type /o and it’ll show you all the commands our bot supports. Please try all of them and know what it does.
Step 3: To query the bot for price, use following commands:

Of course it doesn’t make sense to check these details in a group if it’s your personal rAddress, in which case directly open the bot and send a private message and fetch these details.
Price / Cost / Fee for using the Bot
It’s totally free. We do not have any hidden cost. Our bot doesn’t read any of the group messages. Our bot doesn’t even need admin rights. It’s totally safe and we are providing it for free so that other XRP Ledger based projects can use and take advantage of it.
Caution / Warning:
1. Don’t over load it with requests. Use it moderately and in a responsible way. Don’t annoy the group members with it.
2. Do not add the bot with admin rights. Add it as a regular user.
Data Storage
No data is stored at our end. You just get the result of your query and that’s the end of the life cycle of that data. Nothing is externally stored.
